  • G'day Bald Bonce, Thank you for your question. I hope so. Relegation to the Football League One would be a joke. It is bad enough being amongst the also rans in the Championship. They need new management that will get them back in the first division on a permanent basis. It makes you long for the good old days of the sixties and seventies. Regards
  • There is no reason why they cannot be at least a Premiership team again within even the next 10 years... things can change quite quickly in football (as Leeds found out the wrong way) but they can also change the right way too. Ten years ago, who would have thought that Bolton would be challenging for Champions League spaces, and Wigan and Fulham would be Premiership teams? Teams come from nowhere sometimes, and Leeds certainly have a bigger fanbase and historical weight behind them then those teams. They obviously need a whole different bunch of players though! They should take heart from Manchester City who were relegated to League 1 in 1997/98 then won promotion back to back years to return to the Premiership by 2000/01... it can be done, relegation is not a big abyss that you cannot climb back out from. And it gives you a chance to see a few grounds and places you wouldn't normally see on away days! But I honestly don't see Leeds festering in the lower leagues forevermore like Wimbledon did until they moved.
  • sorry, can't remember them ever being great
  • A buddy in my ofice is a big Leeds fan. I hope they do because he grumbles a lot. I am a big fan of the concept of relegation. I wish American baseball would adopt it.
  • When they go back to the badge with an owl on it.
  • not while chelsea run you LOL LOL LOL
  • NO THEY ARE CRAP
  • It seems a shame that a once almost great club should be in such dire straits. (Liverpool Supporter here ) So although I would like to see leeds return to the top flight i will not lose a lot of sleep over them.
