  • I don't dislike him, in fact, I actually liked him a lot during the election but most of my friends feel that he's just a pawn, just like Bush. Obama is just more articulate and very convincing.
  • I hate all politics..I've always said if youre not doing it yourself...youre gonna have some problems with everybody. The thing that bothers me about him is his obvious attempts to be some kinda cool celebrity, putting his face on everything, all kinds of shows and what not..it's just annoying, and I think his wife is SO beyond ugly and people try to make her sound like some new age beauty. AND the fact he wants to make this a socilist country...all in all I cant freakin stand the guy
  • I voted for Obama, and I had high hopes, but he's been a complete spineless wimp. The GOP and the Right Wing Echo Chamber screams at him, Obama backs down. They scream at him some more, he backs down some more. Max Baucus spends 6 months trying to get GOP support on the health care bill, they refer him to Dick Cheney (i.e. "Go 'f' yourself....). I'm really sick of it. . . .
  • Because he wants to change this country into a Marxist state. The guy has no experience and is destroying the dollar. He will in fact be the first president to have a total net loss job during his presidency. He is on the track and is proud of it. What a radical leftist
  • I knew he would win. Hands down his is a VERY good orator. Problem is, he's only got tyhat as his best item in his abilties. Yes, he's "Not white" fine I could not care too little then I do. But he made some heafty promises which have basically gone down the crapper. Yes, the housing bust, market decline and such have hurt him and stopped his attempts for some things. But his latest gaffe is this health care "Reform". What they really should do, is lok at other well run systems (Japan and other countries) and take their best (And worst) and mix it for the USA. Doing that, they may have a grip. But the AMA, Drug makers will surely scream like they did years ago.
  • He's not a Republican, and therefore they're unwilling to give an inch.
  • Whenever I hear Obama's detractors speak about him at work, the "N-Word" often comes up. That could be one thing. There's still a lot of simmering racism going around. Then there is the fact he's articulate, and educated. Somehow that's also a detracting factor. Then there's the freefall of the economy, something that was set up YEARS ago. But seriously a true capitalist economy will do that... A LOT, and with bigger swings. So people complain about two, mutually exlusive issues. The bad economy, and socialism. Trust me folks, you get one or the other, pick one; Free market cycles, or government control. Medical care; Apparently it's a bad thing. We don't want to pay for it, but we like letting sick people die while staring at the cure they can't afford sitting on a shelf collecting dust waiting for a sick person with enough money. In the end, when all the debate is over, there's just the buzzwords and name calling. So my answer is; "Because loud people think he's a socialist N-word."
  • I'm pro life, pro traditional marriage, pro guns, pro tax cuts, pro military, pro capitalism, pro less gov. Everything Obama stands against.
  • I dont hate Obama, but believe his politics are destructive. I think he and his administration are very irresponsible with the way they want to spend money we dont have. I could write a book about the things I dont like about the Democrats. I could also write a book about what I don't like about republicans. I believe that the Framers would role over in their graves if they saw what has happened to this precious Representitive Democracy.
  • THIS IS A COMMENT ONLY. Hi Jimmy23: So you are living in Eastern Europe. It will take a very long time for the old communist mentality to be erased from the old eastern bloc countries. The kids over the past 60 years have all been educated into the commi way of thinking.Like East Germany who has during the last twenty years experienced freedom from the communist yoke it will take a long time there to adapt too.Theres nothing wrong in having national health service that runs along side private health care.If its working in the UK it will definately work in the U.S.A. and will benefit all of its people young and old. I do not know much about other european health care but ours in the UK is a good system and you do not have to worry where the cash is coming from to pay for your health care.We call it free, but in reality it is not because everbody who works pays for it through their national insurance contributions.
