  • There's an old story my father told me: A large flatbed truck was hauling a big load of cargo and was getting onto the Interstate in Kansas, and had to immediately pass under a low bridge. The load was taller than the driver realized, and it hit the underside of the bridge and got stuck. The truck couldn't move forward or backward, and the load was pinched so tightly it couldn't be removed. While the state troopers and driver and bystanders argued about the problem, a small boy standing next to his father was overheard: "Daddy, why don't they let the air out of the tires?" That's thinking outside the box.
