  • G'day reterrell, Thank you for your question. Baptists have no specific health beliefs as far as I'm aware. Regards
  • No not that I am aware of! Good question though
  • I was able to find online that Baptist discourage the use of alcohol and tobacco products which would contribute to an individuals health. I was also able to find that Baptist believe blood and organ donation to be of a charitable nature, but ultimately leave issues of health care up the the discretion of the individual.
  • Im not sure of any health beliefs per say... They eat, excersise & do other types of things to be healthy...
  • Only that Jesus is the great Physician, and that all real healing comes from Him. Doctors have learned much and are valuable people, and can help ease suffering but not really heal. Most Baptists are most definately against abortion, and genetic research involving embryonic stem cells, or any other practice which harms children born or unborn. Cosmetic surgery done for vanity is not good, but for repairing damage from accidents or birth defects, no problem.
  • If you're not alive, then you are dead. Baptists are quite hypocritical in that while most of them believe all forms of alcohol and tobacco are inherently bad, it is not frowned upon to be gluttonous; Baptists are well-known for using any and all possible excuses to stuff their fat faces at church dinners. Raised Baptist; I know these things. :-P
