I've got Teddy bears-Squirrels-Puppies-All of the Hoobs-and many more cuddlies and I'm 44 years old,I think that answers the question!+3

My last boyfriend had Dougie whom he had since childhood. My daughter has those beenie babies and she is 36 so I guess it's not that uncommon.

I bet it's more common than we know. I had a favorite, bit it got lost in one of my many moves. I have my pillow, from when I was a little boy. Does that count?

Very common. Many of my friends have them. They always come up with reason they are cool and not lame like everyone elses, but they still have them.
