Help answer this question below.

I have a 2000 Saturn SL2,4CYL. I just put plugs,wires,airfilter,and a throttle position sensor in it. It hesitates when appling gas after warming up. The check engine light does NOT come on. It was put on engine anylizer and no problems showed up.?

    I am having the same problem with my 2000 SL2, 5sp manual. I have also replaced the the TPS, plugs, and wires. As well, I replaced the coolant temp sensor, and still have the hesitation once the engine is warm. I have checked the EGR valve which is perfectly fine, and repaired an exhaust leak in hopes that maybe it was lack of back-pressure. Vacuum lines are all intact with no leaks, throttle body has been cleaned, and I even Sea Foamed the engine and nothing changed. My next try is going to be the ignition control module. I don't know what else to check! This seems to be a common problem and no one has a solution. I've put so much money into this car trying to fix this hesitation, and I'm really frustrated. Anyone else have any ideas?

    Check the transmission. Have you ever had it serviced? Hesitation is not always due to the engine - the transmission ultimately gets the power to the wheels. Have it serviced and see if that fixes the problem.
