What would you do if a hijacker tried to hijack the plane your on? Would you take action or just sit there?

I am not going out without a fight. If these b's are going to kill us anyway, they are going to face all my 5"1" wrath.... I have no doubts as to where I am going, thanks to the Grace of God in Christ Jesus, but I want to give others the chance to live.

I would try to act... however that is easier said than done. You need to get a few people to act together in order to get anywhere.

After giving air marshalls, the Air wing of the military and the crew a chance to act, I'd have to consider the eventual outcomes and the purpose of the highjacking. Not all highjackings in like 9/11. This would be a hard determination. The highjackers aren't going to announce "welcome to the USAir suicide flight." If there was liquor on this flight, I'd most likely take a couple stiff ones, and proceed to avail myself of any plan or opportunity to return control of the flight to the captain.

An easy question to ask, but an impossible one to answer. We all like to think we would be brave enough to take action, and in our daydreams we do. It would depend upon a lot of imponderables - how many of them, how well organised, how well armed? The only honest answer is that I hope I would have the courage to do something, but I could never know unless I found myself in the situation.

If i was in my seat and there was three of them - one in 1st class - one in my class - 2nd - and one flying the plane id wait til the one in mine comes past and i ould quickly stand up behind him - grab his head - twist it - kill him on the spot - take the gun - tell everyone to get as far back as they can to the back of the plane - ask someone to alert the police via mobile - then id plan with four other men to tak out the dude in 1st class - eventually kill him - trying not to fire the weapon - then id go into the pilot cabin where the third is - id be in one of th hijackers uniform so i can confuse him before killing him - then id fly the plane like i learned off flight simulator - land on the nearest airport runway - let everyone out - get out myself - get arrested and put in jail for life because i killed three people - hopefully it wont happen - but if it does my best advice is - only be a hero if you know how (HOW) to be one!! - otherwise sit there - get shot - win - jump off the plane - die or not go on a plane ever again!!!

Take action. dead is dead. either at 35,000 ft. or hitting the earth at 600 mph. the only recourse? Action in the air. Either way, its the gamble of your life.

You kill one outright with whatever is to hand when you get the chance, then you get help from others to take care of the rest. You could also play distraction, get someone to play dead, roll around, etc and use that opportunity to strike.

I wouldn't present much of a threat to the hijacker, I would probably do more good by staying out of the way if other people were taking action. But if the right opportunity presented itself, I would like to think I would take advantage of it, but there's no way to know for sure unless the situation arose.

When my chance would come I would take it. If no chance came my way, I'd make my own chance. I woould never die passively...

There would be some action taken. It's automatic for me to take action in those kind of situations. When I was in highschool I had a guy pull out a knife on one of my friends. I tackled the guy, knowing that I could be stabbed. But I wasn't. It's something my father taught me. If I see anyone being hassled, it's a natural instinct for me to deal with it. Sometimes it's not such a good thing. But at times it can really help. I can't really say what I would do. But I would figure something out.

I would fight, there would be pieces of the hijackers everywhere. my predicted outcome would not have an impact on whether I would fight or not.

It would be very simple; Take solid object A, and smash over and over again into hijackers head B, until hijacker is dead.

When asked for drink preferences I always include an unopened can of something. An "Improvised Impact Weapon" But then again, I went to Cal-Berkeley, like the "let's roll" hero of Flight 93.
