  • most definately, preservative can cause cancer.
  • I don't think whether or not you eat organic can actually prevent or help to prevent such health issues. Many people believe that eating organic is healthier, but lost of studies have proven otherwise. For years researchers have found little or no nutritional difference between organic and traditionally grown foods. People also believe eating organic is better for the environment, but say you are interested in buying a specific organic vegetable that is only grown in certain states. That means that truck has to drive cross-country to deliver the goods. I think it's safe to say that produce is produce, milk is milk. I personally think the promotion for eating organic is a gimmick.

  • Yes, absolutly. Organic food is more in tune with nature, and nature is a self-regulating being. Organic foods have been found to be more rich in healthy nutrients and antioxidants. These things help to prevent cancer.

  • Well these three friends have been diagnosed with cancer in the last 18 months. But thankfully up until then I've only known one or two people to have it.
  • Yeah. I think if people ate homegrown organic food, drank water that wasnt floridated, didnt use so many chemicals on their body - shampoo, deoderant, toothpaste, mousterizer, body spray, blah blah blah... Didnt eat out at all. Nothing with any steroids or growth hormones in it. Didnt smoke, didnt drink... The air was cleaner. and was a little happier all around... Cancer wouldnt be so rampid. ...and nobody can tell me that all these prescription pills people are poppin aint doing a good number on the body either.... expecially if combined with more than 1 drug.

  • That would help but it is also in what kind of food you choose to eat. Simpler, coarser whole foods that require chewing and digesting rather than industrial or fast food. And lifestyle choices - physical exercise, fresh air, sleep. When we take in more than we give out (in all ways!) the condition is there for cancer.
