  • I would do in future. As my mom always did. I think it is better to allow your child so that you can know about your child rather than not allowing them and don't know about them.+5
  • Yes but with obvious restrictions
  • My parents used to let my brother and I drink at home. We were both in college at the time. I would let my kids drink if they gave me their keys and did not have any friends over. +5
  • Not just for the sake of drinking. I did allow my kids at about 19 to have a glass of wine with the family on special occasions.
  • No. Not if we're talking underage drinking. I would not condone them doing something illegal in or out of my house. My standards and rules would be made very clear as would the consequences for breaking them. The bar of expectations should be raised for children, not lowered. Because usually they have a way of living up to wherever it's set.
  • No i would not, why would it be ok to drink at home whats wrong is wrong be it inthe home or outside the home,
  • No way! I would never condone my kids doing anything illegal in my home or anywhere else. People that do this are not setting a good example and also opening themselves up to all sorts of problems and litigation! It's just a way of "copping out" from your parental responsibilities.
  • If they were 21 yes, if not no because I am just telling my kids to become alcoholics.
