Agnostic, some might say spiritual
-
I would say you are a Christian non-denominational. Each of us must worship God in our own way. +5
-
You say you believe in God. Do you believe in Jesus as son of God (not just prophet or historical figure). if yes then Non-denominational-Christian, if no then you must determine which God you believe as there are many different religions with their own gods.
-
Theist. You believe there is a God, but not that any one group has unique knowledge of him.
-
if you follow whatever seems to float your boat, this way or that way, no I dont agree with this bit but i like that bit, then you are one thing. your religion is NEW AGE. ps you cannot be a christian by birth, you can be raised christian but to be a christian is like being a football player, you do play or coach , or you are not a football player...one or other. +3
-
You are a Deist.
-
Well, that would depend a lot on the nature of your beliefs. You are definitely a Theist. Without any further details, I'd hazard a guess at Ecletic or simply Spiritual (not Spiritualist).
-
Just a human being like me. I believe god is in our hearts & that we all know what's right & wrong. I'm not against, nor do I follow organized religion. I believe a relationship with god can be personal.
-
Irreligious, even if still spiritual.

You are NOT a "christian by birth". You become a Christian by believing that Jesus Christ was God in the flesh, and that He came to earth and died for your sins, rose again, and is now seated at the right hand of God. IF you believe this with all your heart, and have repented (turned away from) your sins, then you are a Christian. It's not something you are born with.
-
Do you believe Jesus is the savour? If so you are a non-denominational Christian. There are plenty of us who have abandoned the ways of men for the word of God.

HAVE you ever been lost? You may recall an occasion when you were traveling to visit a friend or a relative and could not find the way. As you proceeded along an unfamiliar road, did you stop and ask someone for directions? Imagine how you would feel if, instead of just telling you which way to go, a benevolent individual said: “Just follow me. I will lead you there.” How relieved you would be! In a sense, Jesus Christ does something like that for us. On our own, approach to God would be impossible. Because of inherited sin and imperfection, the world of mankind is lost, “alienated from the life that belongs to God.” (Ephesians 4:17, 18) We need help to find our way. Many people even view religion according to what they want or feel they need. What a mistake that is! We are not the ones to say how God should be worshiped. As the Creator and Life-Giver, God, is the one to say how he should be worshiped. (Romans 9:20, 21) And what he requires of us is for our own good. It brings contentment now and keeps our mind and heart on the wonderful things that he has in store for us in the future.—Isaiah 48:17. One reason why we need to walk with God is explained at Jeremiah 10:23, Those who insist on going their own way, independent of God, make the same mistake that Adam and Eve made. The first pair assumed the right to determine for themselves what is good and what is bad. (Genesis 3:1-6) That right simply “does not belong” to us.

Sane, normal, spiritual, practical. There are a lot of terms!! :-)

the whole point of "doing it your way" is to not be put in a box. why are you now trying to put yourself in a box?

To believe in God is one thing, but to obey Him is another... Jesus asked his followers this... (Matthew 28:19-20) Go therefore and make disciples of people of all the nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the holy spirit, 20 teaching them to observe all the things I have commanded YOU. And, look! I am with YOU all the days until the conclusion of the system of things.” Are you being obedient? If not, Why not?
