  • Definitely. I'd sue, if I were you. "Take no prisoners." +5
  • Oh dear Aloha Girl I don't think there are any rules about stealing other peoples avitars on AB. If you look through the questions you will see a lot of identical avitars. Gets confusing some times. Not only that but they can copy your AB identity as well. I did a search for CatLover and found about 20 of them, most of which were not being used any more. That's when I added "the original" to my i.d.
  • It's possible. Do you mean they are using your name or just your pic? Did you do a member search to see if one shows?
  • Your avatar? Yep. Actually, yours is one of AB's standard Avatars. You name? Yes... Sure. Is it nice? No. Can they make people think they are YOU? Yep... Happens quite a bit. They clone your name and avatar, pretend to be you, and jerk people around, making them think YOU are doing things to them. Real friends will notice the change in behavior. Others, HOPEFULLY, will know you, and know that you are not THAT level. There are three (3) AlohaGirls (no space), none with your avatar, and 39 with "aloha" in their names (including you - no others as "aloha girl") 09/15/2009.
  • Many people choose the same picture/avatar ag! No worries...your name lets us know which wave we're talking to! :) Now, if someone is also using your name then maybe you need to change it slightly. As far as I know there are no patents available here. You use what you want and that's why we have five zillion "anonymous"! :)
  • i thought about using the name "aloha girl" ... but it was already taken
  • I hate to break it to you honey, but that Avitar is on here about 20 times from different members. It is hardly original.
  • i may have seen a wave or two, but i can tell its you. lol
