insert your CD and set CD as your primary boot device in BIOS. Then when you get a message to boot from CD do so and it will ask you if you wish to do a windows repair press f8.

It is possible that a portion of your hard drive is devoted to restoration, depending upon manufacturer of your Media Center computer. Reboot into the bios and see if you have options that permit you to restore your hard drive while also preserving your data. If that fails, then do the entire restore process.

You cannot reinstall if there has been any updates. Try rebooting and choose LastKnownGoodConfiguration. If this does not work, you may need to save your data files to an external location and then re-image the drive, or re-format the drive and re-install everything.

what kind of computer. if its a compaq u have to push f11 at start up. most others i think its f8

1. Pick up phone. 2. Call computer repair shop. 3. Make appointment. What can I say? This works for lots of us who are technologically clueless.
