No, because I'm one of those positive people, and I see no benefit in wallowing in your own cynicism and pessimistic attititude. I'm a cynic too, but I don't see the bad part of every aspect of life and try to know that because we only have one life, it's best to stay happy.

Haha it depends on the type of positive. I understand the importance of optimism but some people refuse to accept reality because they are too preoccupied with finding the bright side. Sometimes things are bad, or not as good as they could be and I think that acknowledging both ends of the spectrum is important.

Yea i would have to agree with this, i have met only one person that was so smiley constantly that it was just insane, hell he even smiled when he was comeing back on a trip and his car got all hailed on and beat down hard, come to think of it the only other person that smiles this much is Smiling bob, he could have been his stand in.

Rarely, if I know they are sincere and not faking it. It's the negative people who get on my nerves.

People to either extreme can be annoying to me. Either always negative or always positive, more so the people who are always negative though because they won't ever recognize when something good happens or they always find the bad in the good.

Nope, I'm always positive, I think too positive, one time, I KNEW I was screwed when I took my step-sisters money, and my reason for being optimistic was "oh well, not like they're gonna smoke my weed". The reason I took it though was because my sister got it just as wrongly as me, and I was going to a party, and was sick of being a mooch.
