  • kill it.............
  • My dog weighs in at 110pounds. There is simply no question of a bite. My big man would commit hari kari before ever putting his teeth on anyone.
  • My dog would never bite me, as I can see when she is getting too tense or excited and can calm her down before a bite occurs (not that we have ever gotten to that point). I do live alone, and if I have friends or family over, I do not leave the dog unattended with them, especially as one of my friends has three children (one is aged 3 and her twin boys just turned 2) and I would never leave young children alone with ANY type of dog.
  • Kill it!
  • Well, since this has happened once with 2 different dogs, each of which we still have, clearly it does not matter what I would do, despite my determination that they each be brought back to the adoption agency we got them from. They were pretty wild when we got them, which sort of explains why someone would abandon purebred puppies, but they have settled in quite nicely and now have wonderful temperaments as young adult males. Thank goodness no one was hurt too badly, when it did happen.
  • Depends on why it did it, and the amount of damage. Generally a timid bite of a scared dog Ill try and rehome with a warning that it is not to be around children. , an out and out aggressive dog, Ill shoot it.
  • Depends on which relative. He can decapitate Uncle Buuford for all I care.
  • It depends on what the context of the incident was. If the dog just went nuts one day and started attacking everyone, I would consult an expert to see if the dog's issue could be fixed, and if not, I'd have to consider giving him/her away. If the dog just took a nip at someone, that would be different. I would scold the dog, and not encourage the behaviour.
  • well a dog has bitten my bro and the irony of it was that before it happened i was like wow look at that mangy mut it looks like it has fleas and rabbis... needless to say we got my dad to go confront the whitetrash who swears he didnt know why his dog did it if it had bit me i honestly wouldve kicked the dogs ass; curb stopmp it, kick it, punt it, whatever i wanted to
  • Whck him.
  • It all depends on why and how bad of a bite. A bite to protect itself or an instinct from getting hurt by the person it bit etc. I would not do much other than try to make sure that it does not happen again. Now if the dog just did an all out attack for no apparent reason and did damage...well......He probably would be put down.
  • I was bitten by my own. But, I understood the trauma she was experiencing and I held her tightly and rocked her, petted her and talked gently to her for a long time. She was terrified and did what nature told her to do. The story of her trauma is to long, but she was the most loving and gently companion I've ever had.
  • It would totally depend upon the situation. The NORMAL temperament of the dog, what was going on. I've been bitten by a stray that I was hand feeding, without problems right up to the point that I reached for a bit of kibble that had accidentally fallen out of my hand onto the driveway. (years ago) It was not a bad bite, the poor old dog was nearly toothless, and the Dog catcher who came out said they had been trying to catch that dog last weekend for hours...he would park himself by a motorcycle..and refuse to allow the owner of the bike to touch or remove it...the dog was OLD, confused, and its pads were beat to chit, from running...he needed to be put down, and since I helped them catch him up (there would be children out walking to school the next day), I assume he was humanely put down. My own Certified Therapy dog, Bossco, once grabbed a guy by the penis...at a beach party, when the guy (friend of a friend of a friend) refused to respect my personal space...after politely being told to LEAVE ME ALONE. The guy grabbed me, trying to "tickle" me (yeah right!) and I shoved him back. He lunged for me again, and my 110 pound, 36 inch tall...at the shoulders, Retriever Mix simply stepped between us and gently...(snort..it was gently..he didn't break the skin) grabbed the guy's willy...and then...SAT DOWN while still holding it...to let the fellow RETHINK his life, and member, and behaviors...while I screamed "drop it, drop it, drop it!" and the guy screamed "he's got my dick, he's got my dick!" It was both scary as hell, (I'm thinking GREAT, they'll put my dog to sleep!) and funny as hell... because...after all... under the circumstances... it WAS FUNNY! THE DOG...was funny...looking from me to the guy, rolling his eyes...as if to say..."Are you SURE you want me to drop it?" and "Right then, have I made it clear that you need to STOP GRABBING AND TRYING TO TOUCH MY PERSON...SHE SAID NO..AND EVEN I KNOW WHAT NO MEANS AND I'M A DOG! NO IS STOP!" Thank goodness for a "soft Retriever mouth!" Only a very slight hematoma resulted..he didn't even break the skin... Needless to say...Bossco lived to a ripe old age and I miss him still...good dog...a thinking dog!
