I don't know call 911 (if in america) and ask them? Hope you are not in such a situation NOW?!

I've always heard (and read) that you cut a tiny x right on the bite and begin sucking the venom out, then spitting it out. Best not to have mouth sores, though, or that could bring the poison into the bloodstream! If you are by yourself and the bite is somewhere you can't reach, I think you're out of luck unless you're a contortionist.

+5 you cut the x suck and spit the venom out, watch for mouth sores, then about 3 inches above the bite you put a binding tie.. not tourniquet those can cut off circulation but a tight compression with old strips of clothe, belt, whatever you have on hand. then get this person to medical attention asap.

Suck the blood that has been infected and spit it out and do not swallow(rinse your mouth with water). Tie very tightly the injured part with a shoes string to stop blood circulation and pray.

You do NOT cut and suck. Ever. It has been proven to do no good. Nor do you use a tourniquet. THAT causes more damage than the bite, often. What you do is have the person lay flat, staying as calm as possible. Then, wrap the limb with a compression style bandaging, using bandages, coats, shirts, whatever, from the point the limb connects to the body, out to the end. Do it tightly, but do NOT cut off circulation. The object is to slow circulation without cutting off the blood supply to needed body parts. Call the emergency number for your area, or get a vehicle to them (only if you cannot get professional aid). If a vehicle is the only option, have them lay down in the seat, or bed of the vehicle. If the limb has to be higher or lower than the body, make it lower. Get them to aid, ASAP.

i was told that leeches would do the trick... But i don suppose we could find them that easy.. suck it out?? or tie the limb tightly so the blood wouldn't transfer to any other parts of the body
