I think it is important if you want people to understand what you are asking or saying. Being articulate helps to show that you have intelligence & are educated, although being inarticulate does not mean you are stupid - just uneducated.

i think it is very important....and i just found out from a test that i took about two weeks ago that i have advanced spelling for my age (15)

speeling iss empotrant. It bugs the crap out of me when I see people type stuff on sites like "omgz tahts teh sux" and that kind of spelling. I think it's really important.

100% important. mispelled words tell something about a person.

Very. It is usually an indicator of how well educated and/or mature someone is. Unless you aren't writing in your first language, in which case, spelling errors are excusable.

It could help your resume, which could help you get a job, which would help your career, which, in turn, would better your family, which would help you to have a greater outlook on life, which would help you to be a great citizen, which makes you an even BETTER person. With that said, I'd say spelling in essential to leading a wonderful life.

well i cant spell worth crap, and if u've seen any of my stuff u'll see that, and i use AIM lingo wich people cant understand mostly, so if u wanna be taken seriously u prob wanna no how to spell, but technechly the brain only counts the letters in the word and the first+last letter so its close to useless.
