Lets break this down: In 1948 Israel was attacked by multiple sovereign nations who did not want a Jewish state in the Middle East. Israel had agreed to the partition plan, the Arab nations refused compromise and attacked stating that the war would be a war of extermination, a genocide. People who fought in that war included the Grand Mufti Haj Amin Al Husseini who was a Nazi responsible for co-engineering the Holocaust.
