  • We were married in a courthouse. There were just too many people to invite to a bigger wedding, so we decided to go small.
  • I married a european, so I juggled the expected smallish Aussie wedding with the enormous Italian one...it was a nightmare...and I would never want to do it again....but here we are after 27 years and still happy. It was a church wedding (both of us confessing christians) and a formal reception in a large restaurant, 124 people.
  • Got married in Hawaii, at the courthouse. One of my husband's Navy buddies was my maid of honor. Yes he was a guy! It was so funny!
  • We had a big church wedding, but if we had it to do over again, it would have been a small beach wedding.
  • Courthouse
  • Shotgun type
  • Very small church wedding.
  • Church
  • Smallish, with the reception at family's home with about 75-85 people. Everyone was close friends or family. Loved it. It was small enough my mom and nI with the help of some friends made all the food, including the cake. We even sewed my dress and the dresses for the bridesmaids. It was a fabulous event:-)
  • We got married at our reception site on a balcony overlooking the Hudson River. It was on the small side with only 75 guests.
  • 5 different weddings. First was at the American Consulate where a clerk merely signed the license. Next was a fancy church wedding. Next at a Justice of the Peace at a vacation town, next at a garden party in our house and last one outdoors at a small ranch we own. They were all, in their own way, rewarding, exciting and fun. Having had such a variety I'm ready to recommend any that seem to fit. Also, I perform weddings; have done them in an airplane, at a shooting range, in a house, in a banquet room, at hotels and in private gardens, indoors and outdoors. Again, all weddings are as beautiful and happy as the people make them. Take your choice.
