  • Yes, as long as the 18-year-old is careful about the relationship. Actually, this falls under the rights of 'free association', so long as her parents do not object. He needs to be aware though that even if they allow the relationship, if he has any contact deemed to be sexual in nature or permits her to engage in any activities not approved by her parents or the Commonwealth he may be held responsible for anything from 'contributing to the delinquency of a minor' to 'statutory rape'. There is a difference, though, between the relationship being 'legal' in Virginia and being wise. It may be the former, but it does not seem to be the latter.
  • I think its legal in virginia honestly if your careful about this kinda stuff relationships like this do work out.
  • If an 18 year old male has no sexual intentions He is the first in world history . Of COURSE he has sexual intentions...he just thinks he can slowly persuad her to have sex after she falls in love with him. He can go to jail if he fools with her, and no it is not legal to do so in Virginia. She has to be 18 to do anything unless her parents give her permission...and even then the state may say it would be illegal. Tell her to date someone her own age and when she turns 18 this guy who has no sexual intentions (Ha! Ha!) will still be around..probably dating another guy!!!
