Generally yellowish on me but I'm very fair and bruise very easily. Arnica gel supposed to help.
It depends on how big it is and how hard you hit it. There's a good chance it will still be that same blackish/blueish color- or it may fade to a green/yellow- depending on your skin tone. I don't know of anything that will make a bruise go away quicker, you can try cover up though. +3
Any women here experience pigmentation problems while on the Pill, like freckles, blotchiness, pigment spots, etc?

you can use some medication to make scars fade, is there anything like that for bruises?

You're reading What color will a fairly new (purple) bruise be in 2-3 days ? And can anything make it fade quickly?

Thanks Moley. I just did a search for Amica gel and found a site for it and other ways to help fade a bruise. I wish I had thought of that! I'm having a family photo taken on Sat morning and banged myself pretty good. I'm also fair and bruises are quite common for me but I don't want one in the photo.
