  • It prob depends on the state.
  • One cannot be FORCED to take a polygraph examination without their consent, regardless of their age. The reason why consent is required, is because if a person is forced to take it against their will, the results won't be accurate at all, and totally useless to whomever wanted them. Police departments sometimes "trick" gullible or drunk people into thinking they have taken a polygraph examination without their knowledge, to get a confession from them. In some cases, that ploy has worked. +5
  • That should not be possible without legal representation.
  • If you have that serious an issue involving your minor daughter and the police, you need to get a lawyer right away. I fully believe most police will take advantage if you do not know your rights. Remember, if the police get mad, you are probably right and they are wrong. Don't let the police do anything until you and your daughter have talked to an attorney. +5
  • ....... I don't think so.......
  • I don't know if it's legal or not. In MY State, my 16 year old can get on birth control pills without my consent, or knowledge, but she can't be treated for strep throat unless the Dr has my consent to treat her. How do you like that? Nice, huh?
