Help answer this question below.

I live in Alabama and found a spider in my house. It was about the size of a clip on the back of a cell phone holder, 1" 1/2 to 2"s long, oval shaped body, looks like tarantula but no hair on abdomen. It just wanting to know if its deadly?

    It might be Charlotte, from Charlotte's Web
    Not poisonous

    highly unlikely. There aren't any deadly spiders native to the US that get that big.

    the only deadly spiders native to the US are the brown recluse and the black widow.

    The brown recluse is native to Alabama, but it is pretty small
