highly unlikely. There aren't any deadly spiders native to the US that get that big.
the only deadly spiders native to the US are the brown recluse and the black widow.
The brown recluse is native to Alabama, but it is pretty small

Unlikely to be a tarantula if hair is absent on the abdomen.
Have it bite someone you can't stand, and if they die, then you should consider it to be "deadly."

Anyone have a idea on how to get rid of spiders, out of a house? And before anyone comes up with the funny/hot answer. I have no plans on burning the house down.....LOL.

You're reading I live in Alabama and found a spider in my house. It was about the size of a clip on the back of a cell phone holder, 1" 1/2 to 2"s long, oval shaped body, looks like tarantula but no hair on abdomen. It just wanting to know if its deadly?
