  • cant ? ....or dont want to ?
  • It depends why you cannot marry her because of her race. If you are somehow barred legally from marrying her because of her race, you are not racist, the law is. However, if you just refuse to marry someone on the basis of race alone, then sure, I'd say you're racist.
  • To begin with you should probably love her and not just like her. I guess if you loved someone you wouldn't care about race. What's the real issue behind why you can't marry her?
  • Liking is different than loving so why consider..if you loved her, race wouldn't matter
  • Well, what's at the end of not marrying her? Is it because of issues of acceptance, you wonder about what your families might say, society. Concern for the lives of your future children? Ultimately, you get to marry (or) not, anyone you want. But if you love her, and people can't accept you for who you are, you must ask youself are these the people to whom you want to cater your life.
  • Maybe not. Is she a chipmunk/squirrel/elephant/salamander/spider/mosquito? If she is a human being, yes, you are a racist. If not, then just try to stay within your own species (human) and all will be well. Happy Tuesday to you! :)
  • Guess it would be for the reason why you can't. If it's going to come between you and your family that's understandable. Basically it's about who is more important to you and what's right for you.
  • you know that answer to that one...
  • Why would you go with someone you could potentially love and not want to marry? I can see dating people casually, but you let this go further than casual? Then you say the color of her skin is stopping you from marrying her, and that's ALL? Just trying to get this straight. If so, besides being racist, how cruel to treat another. That's like loving someone but I hate your nose, or freckle or religion, or politics. Why would you even date her if you are racist? +5
