This has actually happened twice. I dreamed about this guy I dated a long time ago and had not seen for years. Both times I dreamed about him I ran into within the week. The subconscious mind is truly amazing.

This is a true story. It sounds like nothing but I have shared it with scientist friends who study this stuff and have been gratified by their awe: I was walking down the street with my daughter who was about four. Coming from the other direction was my neighbor with her dog. About half a block away I said hi, calling out her name. She called out my name and said hi. As we got closer we began to get puzzled but it wasn't until we were face-to-face that we realized each other was a total stranger. We had called out the correct names, our appearances, age of my child and type of her dog were all correct. Only as we approached near enough to notice fine details was there enough information to realize we had misrecognized each other.

I wrote something on one of my blogs without looking at my friend Sasha's page, and next thing you know, about a second later, I see the exact same words on her page. She couldn't have copied me, and I defenitely couldn't have copied her. Strange, huh?

I had a really strange coincidence today. At work my husband forwarded me a thank you note from one of his customers. I remarked that her name was very close to Marilyn Manson. He said she gets that all the time. Tonight on my way home from work I hear this song from 1985 which was when my husband and I were engaged and I cannot for the life of me remember the name of the female singer who did this duet with Phil Collins. All I know is that she has a voice of an angel. I come home and ask my husband, who is that woman who sang with Phil Collins in the 80's, the song is "Separate Lives". He tells me he has no idea. So I go to www.youtube.com and find out the name of this woman. Her name is Marilyn Martin and that is the same name of the woman that sent hubby a thank you email today. What are the chances? So to all you ladies named Marilyn Martin, today must be your day!!

When visiting a place which neither my mom nor I had ever been to in our lives, we both knew exactly where we going - we knew where every shop was, what it sold, and how to get there. It was very creepy.
