Yes! They add to an evening around a roaring campfire, roasting hotdogs and telling ghost stories, while naked. +5

I do love to sit in the rocker and listen to them and other noisy critters at night. If I didn't hear them I would think something is wrong.

Yes and no. Around a campfire it's great. Outside my window every night with millions of them gathered because I own a pond, not so great.

I love it. A friend of mine had a pet frog which see used to fed crickets. Quite a few escaped, and that summer you could hear crickets all about that area. unusual for the UK :)

Yeah I do although because my pets eat them, I have alot, I buy the silent ones but every now and again Ill get a noisy one, and sometimes it can drive me nuts lol

They are very soothing at night to me, but my s/o would disagree. I have lots of crickets because I feed them to the Anoles and they seem to chirp all night, and part of the day.
