  • Are you guilty? If not, it doesn't matter.
  • Naw, I think the person will eventually get too cocky and overly sure of him/herself, and then the game is up!
  • You can't hide what you have done from yourself can you? God knows what you did, you know what you did.... Guilt and shame can eat you alive, what good is that?
  • I think if you want it to be hidden it can be. I've been with my husband for 5 years now and last december I found out that he had been sleeping with his brothers wife for NINE years!!! No one ever knew or suspected it! Everyone just believed what they told them, that they were just really good friends who understood each other. Yea.. I think if you really want something hidden it will stay that way. I always suspected something of them ( i'm the only one that did and his family used to hate me cuz I said so )but never could prove it until he confessed everything to me.
  • if your conscience tells you your wrong youll get caught if not then you wont
  • Sure but not in your heart
  • There are always clues somewhere. Sometimes relationships become too predictable and comfortable. If so, you need to go that extra mile to spice things up, or someone else will, or has. Too often love is taken for granted by people you would least suspect.
  • 85% of men who die of heartattacks during intercourse, are found to have been cheating on their wives, just found this on a website of interesting facts. Thought I'd share it with this question.
  • The truth has a momentum of it's own. It has a way of finding it's own way to the surface. Infidelity is one of those truths that is more likely than not to be outed.
  • Once An Action Is Done, It Has Always Been Done. It Becomes A Small Truth. Then All That Can Happen Is To Wait Until Someone Wants To Find That Particular Truth Badly Enough. The Thing That Trips Most People Up Is That They Cannot Accept The Risk That Their Hidden Truth Will Be Discovered. So They Worry Relentlessly About It, Which Changes Their Behaviours, Which Makes Their Partner Wonder Why They Have Changed Around Certain People Or Subjects, Which Creates Interest As To Why The Person Has Changed. That Being Said, Its Probably An Easier Idea To Simply Admit the Wrong You Have Done, And Ask For Forgivness. Let The Partner Decide If He/She Can Forgive You.
  • I think deep down you know when your partner is not him or herself. I think all of us have a tendency to be suspicious but it is not something we want to dwell on. I found out my husband cheated because he left his phone next to me when he ran out to his car for something. WhaLa, a weird text with a weird number came thru. I wrote it down really fast but did not act on it for a few days. Then I watched his behavior and sure enough, he was acting guilty. Long story short, we sometimes take our relationships completely for granted and when we do this and we distance ourselves from one another, it leaves windows open. Depending on the people, love and marriage is a full time job and should be handled with care. Truth surfaces if you take the time to look into someone's heart and to know really have the desire to know them.
  • No, I have found out many bad things purely by accident! I truly believe that the truth will come out in time. Just like the criminal...he always gets caught.
  • From your partner, if they are trusting or blind enough, yes, it can. I know one man who had an affair for over 17 years before he died and his wife found out at the hospital. She was blind to it.
  • A few can, if the period is short, and feeling is not strong. However, that still changes one's personality. Most infidelity cannot be hidden. They are often discovered in a sudden, which shock the cheater to death. Drama begins from then on, turn everyone's life unside down for 1-2 years, and craft permenent marks on everyone's memory. The point is not whether it can be hidden or not. It is about innocent people getting betroyed and hurt. Deal with that and the damages can be limited.
  • If one person is naive and the other is highly skilled in deception... Yes. Otherwise after some time it should come out.
  • if the republican and democratic parties can each convince half of america that they are not a bunch of traitors then any truth can concievably be hidden
