  • Yes, but it will never happen. During the Vietnam "Conflict" it stirred up a lot of people to actually go out on the streets and protest. They like us quiet and subservant.

  • I believe that the person with the dominant right in this situation is the wounded soldier himself. Second to that, his next of kin. If the wounded soldier is fine with it, then yes I believe that the public too have the right to see. Pictures of wounded soldiers are incredibly powerful, and have the ability to destroy public support for a campaign in a second, so it is no surprise that individuals in the military and government would rather hide them.
