Fango doesn't ring any bells here. I remember a premixed orange flavored drink called Tango. It was sold in the early 70's until (?).Back in the days of Boone's Farm Wine, and other drinks marketed to young drinkers. Pre-cursors to wine coolers.

The only one I know was a mineral water. I can't remember where it was...honestly, I am trying to remember. It was long ago, so it was either in my military days, Far East, (Philippines, Japan, Thailand) or my wandering days (West Coast). It will come to me.

OK, I got it. Fango itself is not a drink. It is acually volcanic ash that you mix with water, or any liquid, I suppose. On Okinawa, the people would use it as a mineral "health drink". I think it is for sale, but I don't know where to send you. It is sort of like that "coral calcium" fad that was all the rage a few years ago...remember?

This is what I found on the web: 'The fango healing clay which the Mineral Drink contains is able to cleanse the blood, detoxifying via the enzymes it contains as well as its natural negative charge...' http://www.fangocur.com/index_newsaktuell_4_n6__2_0_b383_.html . Never heard of it earlier, though.
