1) Is a verbal agreement legally binding without witnesses? Generally, yes. There are some contracts that must be in writing, but this is the exception, not the rule. And contracts do not have to be witnessed. 2) As a sole owner to an LLC do I have to give up my creative rights for music on a CD to a partner whom we never had a written contract or any other kind of agreement? This question is too vague. How do you have a partner is you are the sole owner of an LLC? And what do you mean by “creative rights”?
