The new cop cars here are Dodge Chargers. How can the Canadian government afford new police cars, much less Chargers during a deficit?

The Canadians banking system was loaning money at 16 dollars on every dollar in reserves. The US was something like 46 and Italy was in the 60$ range. Canada seems to have a stable currency. They also don't have the military spending like the US. Just wait they also have universal health care. Nice cop cars. Man those Canadians piss me off.

Well, I hear they also have the latest in policing technology along with those very groovy "stealth" vehicles which I've seen in action. Our protective services have to keep up if not surpass the technology the criminals have access to these days. So I have no problem with our government supplying our police forces with new cars.

I agree that they should be driving the ones that are normally issued.It is the taxpayer that has to pay for these extravagance's and have no say in the matter.People work hard for their money and should have a say in how their city spends money.

At least one PD in the Kansas City area uses those too. They're probably not more expensive than a bigger Crown Victoria or other "traditional" police car model.
