  • I strongly advise you to discontinue use of the product until you have discussed your reaction with your doctor. Until you are able to seek medical advice, research the product online and see if there are any known reactions or side effects. If you are unable to locate any info online, contact the company who makes and markets the product.
  • whats it called?
  • That is exactly what some acne medications do -- they cause your skin to peel. Read about the medication to see if it is doing what it claims it will do. I'm assuming it is not a prescription med since you are discussing it in the middle of the night on AB rather than simply calling your doctor.
  • A good tip that i have used for years. Lather a good non chemical soap. Take finger fulls of sugar or rock Salt ( be careful with salt if your skin is sensitive. Gently massage the sugar or salt onto the soap and massage on to the face and any other areas of the body if needed Do this several times a week. This will take away all the dead skin which will clog the pores. Use a good moisturiser afterwards
  • How bad is the peeling? If you only get a few flakes, that's nothing to worry about; most acne medications work by removing oil, which dries the skin. Use a light, oil-free moisturizer and the dryness will go away. If the flakes are very bad, you may want to switch to a less drying product.
