I'm certainly no expert, but I wouldn't do it. If someone important really needs to reach you, they will.

If you don't know them, then you probably shouldn't- you don't know if they want to spread something-or it could be someone you know from highschool who wants to reunite with you- but really its your choice- personally if I was bored I would but I'm not so I won't and can't....
