How to eliminate the extra line space when I hit the enter key when making a list in VISTA WORD? There is no extra space when typing continuously in paragraph format.

    This works in earlier versions, so it should also work in your version.

    After hitting Enter the first time press Control + A on the keyboard to select all the text.

    Right click anywhere on the highlighted area and select Paragraph from the menu that appears.

    In the Indents and Spacing tab set Space Before and Space After to 0, then click OK.
