  • My aunt had rabbit as a home pet called Orlando, he died at 18. I was never happy visiting her..there was some smell and this little black olives like things/droppings everywhere.... So you calculate the danger yourself... after all everyone has a different standard.
  • if they are wild rabbits i would advise against it. go to a good pet store and buy a pet bunny raised in captivity. most are tame and have been handled. the two that i have gotten would let you pick them up right away.
  • How old is the girl?
  • Generally speaking places have rules against keeping indigenous animals as pets...
  • I say dont because they are too young.
  • Don't try. Wild rabbits have the lowest survivability rate of almost any wild animal. There are no dangers, but you will be needlessly throwing away the life of a baby rabbit, and letting your daughter see it. She may even blame herself. If you want a baby rabbit, go buy a domestic one.
  • Beware of the one with narshy-narshy teeth!
  • It's not a good idea. They will need to be fed by their mother for many weeks and it's not feasible for you to handfeed them when it's not necessary. It's much better to get a domestic rabbit, as there is a huge surplus of pet rabbits in shelters and rescue groups. Better yet, a spayed or neutered pet rabbit is the best rabbit pet you can have.
