  • Dip in your eggs? Did you forget to cook them?
  • BDBS, Eggs are one of my very favorite foods, (being blessed with low cholesterol) both to cook and to eat. I must confess that one of my very favorite breakfast dishes (which I don't cook often but do order when eating out in a restaurant) is Eggs Benedict. This is eaten open face. Split an english muffin and toast both halves. Place a slice of cooked canadian bacon on each half. Nestle a poached egg on on top of each, and spoon hollandaise sauce over the works. Just amazing. For variety, substitute cooked spinach for the canadian bacon and enjoy it as Eggs Florentine. To further answer your question, I like eggs fried over easy, basted, poached, scrambled, in omelettes and breakfast casseroles and frittata, hard cooked plain and in salads, and can probably provide dozens of tasty recipes. You've hit on one of my favorite topics. And don't forget the meat; bacon and eggs, ham and eggs, sausage and eggs, steak and eggs... Eggs are good anytime - not just for breakfast. They are very versatile and can be served as a side dish or as the main event. :-) +5
  • All of the above.
  • My wife loves to cook breakfast. She asked me one morning if I wanted my yokes hard or runny. Trying to be a smart ass I said "medium". She did it and they were perfect! Kinda runny but not oozing out anywhere.
  • Very fresh buttered bread or buttered toasted soldiers. I like to put salt and butter in the egg yolk too.
  • I had 2 hard boiled eggs this morning, just with a little of salt. Usually I slice those with my egg slicer and put it on buttered home-made bread and put anchovis on top. I could live on eggs, milk and cheese.....not to forget the wine as beverage, some walnuts and some grapes.
  • Eggs, over medium with dry whole wheat toast.
  • Eggs sunny side up with whole wheat buttered toast to dip in the yolk.
  • I like them poached on breakfast muffins (not English muffins, since I am English) most of all =)
  • I like mine sunny-side up as well, but mostly eat them scrambled because I'm in a rush most of the time:) Sometimes I'll make an omelet.
  • Dry toast. +5
