Why do people want opposite of their born attributes? For instance, some people want lighter skin, but I would do anything for dark skin. Or some people want thin hair, but I would do anything for thick hair. Why?

Opposite attracts only for a little while and maybe realized that opposite don’t attract for long-term The grass is not always greener on the other side. It's only w/ time, we come to this conclusion.

because we want what we don't have. it's human nature. sometimes it's a disorder, a mental thing. like gender dysphoria. i was born female but i consider myself & live my life as a man.
