Lunges or squats are good lower body exercises. They affect the larger muscles. For upper body I would say something like curls, shoulder press, and lat pull downs. Use light weight with high repetitions for toning. Oh and don't forget the ab crunches and some form of aerobic excercise.

No such thing as Quick results. You have to build muscle (eat more than you burn), then burn fat(burn more than you eat, while maintaining resistance training). If you do both at once, results will be very slow, so slow you may lose motivation. Getting your heart rate into the "fat burning zone" burns a higher percentage of total calories burnt, but higher heartrate excercises burn more calories overall, and more fat.

I've found that Tae-Bo works the best for me! The videos are fun with great music that gets you energized and you dont get burnt out doing the same exercises repeatedly. The videos arent expensive & they tone & burn fat from head to toe, and you see results FAST! =)

Once you have a baby, depending on your age and how much weight you gained from pregnancy in addition to your overall health status and weight/bodytype before-hand, all determine how you will gain back body. go to www.mypyramid.gov and it can give you guidelines on diet which is crucial to exercise. Dancing, intense cardio workouts, and extreme pilates (which is actually geared towards dancers and enhancing their core) will help. You can generally see results fairly quickly depending on age/BMR/etc.

I believe being dedicated and starting at a low excercise program. Eating differently with more fruits and vegetables and drinking lots of water daily is a great beginning and being happy that you are doing something to improve your health. darrius

For Cardio Training: Running burns the highest amount of calories, but swimming targets the entire body. Jumping rope is also an excellent workout for the whole body and burns up those calories. For some workouts at home... plug in cardio power moves up top in the search engine and find some great cardio-strength moves that you can do at home without equipment. Strength training: Ballet bar exercises are great for the women, to lengthen and strengthen and lunges and squats are great for the guys to strength and build muscle. Plug in lower body in the search engine up top and check out some great videos of lower body moves to lean those legs!!
