Help answer this question below.
I have seen women working in business whose fingernails are talons...inches long..so long they begin to curl back on themselves. I have seen them use calculators...they develop a method to do. So my answer is there is no "too long" for some. I think they are actually very unattractive personally! :)
To me, they're too long when they start catching on things and breaking - and on my left hand they're too long when I can't fret my guitar well

Me too. It takes me so long to grow them slightly, I'm a picker.

My sister has always had great, strong fingernails. She could grow beautiful nails..they looked fake..they looked like the kind you get glued on in the beauty shop. Me? I can grow them only so long and then they break. I used to take gelatin capsules years ago to strengthen them but it didn't help at all. Happy Friday Dibley! :) ((hugs))
