"Be" is my answer. Once you cease to be you are out of options. I don't like that idea much.

T'would be better to take arms against a sea of troubles and by opposing, end them.(paraphrased)
To be is obviously the better option.

Death will come to everyone eventually, so 'to be' for now and for as long as possible, until death finally comes for you ...

... 'Live a lively life while you yet live, there will be plenty of time for rest in the grave' ...

    To be good?

    or

    Not to be bad?

    To be bad?

    or

    Not to be good?

Is a good persons bad more forgivable ... than a bad persons good is sincere?

    The answer is:

"to exist or not to exist".

Pretty sad as the thought relates to suicide.

for hamlet to BE hamlet, it required greater courage than he had, thus, he chose to NOT BE. shakespeare introduces an interesting twist. we think, ought this not be the answer? yet, it's posed as the question. what then is the answer? his lived choice, which, sadly, was not to be.
