by hand? i'm not sure. if you have a sewing machine, though, just buy some leather sewing needles & make sure to use a wider stitch width. use low tension for thicker leather & use binder clips instead of pins. i hope that helped a little.

If you are using a maching, use a scrap to set the tension on the machine. You will most likely need a leather wheel presser foot. Set the LENGTH of stitches at about 6-8 to the inch. Do Not change the WIDTH of the stitch.
