You've GOT to relax and let the teenage angst slide off your back. It passes. Just keep doing what you do, being a good mother. Don't fight back, don't try to nag your way into her good graces. You can't be cool. But you can be a good mother and once she grows out of her idiot phase, she'll realize that. To recap: don't follow her around trying to fix her attitude. Don't blame yourself. Don't make it worse by nagging her to death trying to find out what's wrong. It's her--not you. You can't fix it, but you can make it worse, so just lay back.
