I'd only do it if I expected it from them, so yes.

VS Angel aka Mrs. Stealth Intelligence

I would never betray a friend for any reason, however I am feeling a bit betrayed myself.

Someone I trusted really let me down in a big way tonight.

I wouldn't be much of a friend if I did. So my answer is no.

It really depends on the advantage vs. the disadvantage, both in the long term and the short term. Give away their two dollars I was holding onto in order to get a free Ferrari, then yes. Shoot them in the back in order to get a million dollars, no.

Nope. I would never betray a friend, because I would never want a friend to betray me.

    Golden rule still rules!

I would not betray a friend, because I have experienced being betrayed by someone I thought was my friend. The experience cost me so much, physically, mentally and emotionally. It has made it hard for me to trust anyone in the future. I went into a partnership to buy a business and she lied about what she was actually going to do as a partner. Secretly she was planning to move out of state, and leave us holding the bag. This cost us thousands of dollars. She has to this day, never been able to admit she did wrong. I am working thru the process of forgiving her, but there is a reality that the great damage done is I believe beyond repair. I can be friendly with her, but will never be able to be her friend. Because we trusted her, we did not have legal counsel draw up any kind of partnership agreement. This was very naive on our part, but worked really well for her.
Betrayer's know what they are doing. The act of betrayl is never an accident...it is intentional..it takes forethought and planning.
Please don't betray your friends, no matter what you think you may stand to gain.

No. Friendship is more valuable than advantage and it would only work once. After that, no one would trust me.
