I'm not sure if there is any God there or not, so I simply ask skies for health of my loved ones and peace for those who left us. Just in case something is up there.

A financial blessing. I know that God will provide for me, so I am not asking for riches, I just don't want to be so damn poor!

Prayer time is for stilling the mind and establishing a connection with the divine. At that state we pray for total concentration alone. Personal gains do not come into prayers. Not even the welfare of the whole world would qualify for a prayer. Only a connection with the infinity that lies beyond the mind merits prayers.

I pray for wisdom and God sends me trials to increase my faith. I pray for patience and God tells me to wait. I pray for contentment and God meets my needs. I pray for mercy and God forgets my sins. I pray for help and God gives me His grace.

I pray a lot for my children & to stay focused on what god would have me do. I also just sit & talk to him sometimes about everyday things. I feel connected so it feels okay to do it not so official like if i'm not in a place to worship or pray at the time.
