When I refer to the possessive of "Varneys," do I say "Varneys'" or "Varneys's?"

    If the surname before pluralizing is VARNEYS, then the possessive form would be VARNEYS', with an apostrophe after the S.

    Same thing with a name like Alex, which would be Alex'.
