  • Mine does (at the end of the bed though).
  • I had a king-sized bed, and my dog (a Beagle) occupied the spot right next to me, from 1960-68, when I went away to college. Even after I moved out, he continued to sleep in that bed, all alone. When he slept with me, I was NEVER attacked one time, by the monsters in my closet or the ones underneath my bed. He kept them away from me. +5
  • Absolutely! Mine has protected me for years!
  • Should you? I think it is personal preference. My first dog, Pal, slept with me as soon as he was weaned 100% from his Mom. Pal was a small dog only about 20 pounds. But, he set the trend. When I got Bossco, my big 110 pound retriever mix, Boss started out sleeping next to the bed, when he was just a puppy. However, once he was big enough to jump up on the bed, he joined me. He also accidentally pushed me OUT of the bed one time. lol CLUMP! I hit the floor and woke up..."what the hell?" I was single then, after I wasn't single anymore, Boss went back to sleeping on the floor or his own huge dog bed... Hannah, my current doggie girl, sleeps in the bed with my partner and I most of the time. Carol wants to get a King sized bed, when we move and have a bedroom that can hold one without taking up the entire floor space! Hannah only weighs about 45 to 50 pounds.....and she sleeps on MY side of the bed as a rule...but Carol says "there is the displacement theory...lmao Hannah is where MY feet should be, so MY feet move into Carol's space....she's right...roflmao....good in cold winter, bummer in hot summer....hee hee hee. This is Hannah! Search and Rescue dog and my best girl! (well, the best one with four feet!)
