Like a child who desires any and all things for him/her self. Also like a child, you feel that you are in control of your life and your surroundings. So far so good, right? Except, also, as a child you do not know as much as you think you do. You need boundaries, loving support and nurturing from someone else. All children desire/need boundaries. They will constantly attempt to push them and test them. It is when the boundaries are dropped that the child gets scared. Now, all of a sudden, the child needs to make a decision as to what is right and what is wrong. What is safe and what is potential danger. "So...If I sold my soul to the devil am I doomed to hell?" He will not force you to do anything. He gives you a free will to decide on your own. Your decision is not a life long decision, it is an eternal decision. You are the center of your world and in total control. You do not need to waste your time on some silly notion that there is a supreme being. You have evolved from a lesser being and now you are master of your domain. All that you are and all you will be is up to you. OK, that's one possabilty... Now let's say, you have grown up in church. Your father is a pastor. Your whole family is deeply involved with the church, including you. Now life is good, you love the Lord and have the whole world ahead of you. You and your family are on there way to church. Your little brother is running late. He has a basketball he is taking to church. On his way to the car, he is bouncing the ball... when the ball gets out of control and goes into the street. He chases after it, right in front of all of you in the car. He is hit by an oncoming truck. Now he is dead.... At this point, you have two options... You can either turn to God, he is holding his arms out to embrace your pain and suffering. Or you can take control of the situation your self, by turning against God and blaming him for this. In these two scenarios, you have tenured away from God. You have either proven him none existent or have garnered much hatred for him for taking your brother. The only problem with these two scenarios, is God is still there. You have removed him from your world, yet his world is much much larger than yours. And the interesting thing is... When something tragic happens to someone who has denied Gods existence. Then that person is in a life or death situation. Or when someone of grieve importance is at or near death. All of us turn to a god of some kind. All of us either pray to something or blame something. This is because, no matter how hard we try to block God out. He actually know he is really there. So in answer to your question, Your soul is in your care right now. God is not going to force you or control you. You have your own free will to do as you wish. I do not know what heaven or hell is like... Heaven, I can only believe, is beautiful and loving. I have often thought what hell would be like... Wailing and gnashing of teeth... Eternal burning flames... A guy with a long tail... Dante's Inferno... I can not fathom hell, Hollywood has attempted to put it in a box. Take the little brother scenario. Let's say it really happened. You were in the car watching as the truck hit your brother. You saw him react to the on coming doom. You saw his facial expression. His look of complete terror. He looks back at you, eye to eye. As the truck hits him. Blood every where, his body all mangled and destroyed. All of this happening in a split second, 8 feet away from you. Hell, may be you experiencing this over and over and over for eternity. I don't know. May God touch your heart and reveal himself to you. Lord I pray that someone will come into this persons life and show them the beauty and comfort that is only gained from a personal relationship with you.

Your soul is not yours to sell...it was already bought and paid for by Christ's death for the forgiveness of your sins. Now, if you truly wish to be doomed to Hell, then all you have to do is commit the Unforgivable Sin...denying acts of the Holy Spirit as such, claiming them to be the acts of something else. That will be all it takes to fry eternally. Not what I would choose.

anyone who sells their soul to the devil clearly does not know the severity that they have done, however we are already trapped in the prison that is life, it is just making a pledge to the Lord of Darkness and Decit. however if said person realizes their foolishness, and asks for the LORD JESUS to be their "savior(thus saving them from all past sins including this stupid sin)" then that contract is null and void because Jesus paid the slave debt in which they owed and he bought them from eternal death to eternal life. and so the debt is paid the contract is ripped and burned through the fire, and the past is no longer needed to be thought of because he paid it all. all one needs do is say...."YES Lord I want you, I want to follow you" Jesus said these passages: "I am the resurrection and the life. He who believes in me will live, even though he dies;" "whoever lives and believes in me will never die" I have come into the world as a light, so that no one who believes in me should stay in darkness. that everyone who believes in him may have eternal life: "I tell you the truth, everyone who sins is a slave to sin. Now a slave has no permanent place in the family, but a son belongs to it forever. So if the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. .
