One of the best ways to learn how to write good poetry is to read good poetry first.

I belong to an online poetry site, called Elite Poetry, and its great. You can enter your poetry for others to read and critique, and you in turn read other poetry and critique it. You learn a lot, and make new friends. Its free to join.
