Very much. Alfred North Whitehead was brilliant in his analysis. Thanks for the quote.

As usual I disagree with the pundit. There are whole truths. "I love my son". That is a truth that is timeless, endless, and truthful in its entirety. :)
-
I think that that identifies what was wrong with Alfred North Whitehead.

It depends on whether you are describing facts, theory, or opinion. There are immutable scientific facts that define our reality in the physical universe. Then there is theory based on objective fact that is subject to variable and reasonable interpretations. Opinions can be based on truth or ideas and prejeduces that are the product of our subjective minds. They can be reasonable or total bullshit, or some such combination thereof. I think Alfred North Whitehead was referring to opinion.

No, there are indeed whole truths. Ideologues and cranks exist because people are either too uneducated to recognize, or too timid to assert that there are indeed whole truths.

no. i think its a bunch of bs

I once took a philosophy course on ethics and the meaning of life. What I took away from the course is that no one should be sure of anything. If everyone possessed a sliver of doubt, world peace might be attainable. When people adamantly think that what they believe is "right", then that automatically creates a "wrong" position as well.
