I have a Toshiba 57' projection screen TV. When we turn it on after being off for sometime (like over night) the picture is all distored. It eventually clears up except for about a 1/4 of the top of the picture. What is causing this

  a shadow is over left third of the toshiba 55HT1U tv. is 2months old. what could it be? doesn't change with dvd or channel changing.
