  • Yes I agree...That would be a great idea....
  • I thought the purpose of answerbag was to get answers. If you ask a question that's been asked before, shouldn't you just go to the other question to get the answers you're looking for?
  • i believe that if the question was asked the new one should not matter, mainly because your getting answers from a asked question.
  • AB hasn't been around for awhile, it's been around for YEARS. The reason there are so many duplicates is because the search engine hasn't worked right for a long time. Why should the older ones be pushed aside to make room for new duplicates ?? It doesn't make sense. We have gone through a long period of mega glitches, a lot of people don't realize this because they haven't been here long enough to know any different, but it's been a long climb to get to where we are. The way to correct the problem is to fix the broken search engine, which is what they are trying to do now, I believe. Before asking a question, it is the responsibility of the asker to do a search to see if the question has been asked before. If it has, then you should be able to see the answer to your question and move on. If not, then your question is original and you are free to post it. The entire system is dependent on a functioning search engine, and not by pushing questions aside so someone new can post a duplicate.
